More than 100+ Years of Leadership Experience

  Rusty Rains, CEO   Rusty has 30+ years energy experience and earned an undergraduate degree in Finance from the Price School of Business at The University of Oklahoma.  He was named CEO of Great Salt Plains Midstream when the joint venture formed in December 2017. He joined MVP Holdings in 2015 as vice president of business development.  Prior to joining MVP, Rusty served as senior director-crude with responsibilities for crude operations in the Williston Basin and its midcontinent condensate marketing business.   From 2011 to 2014, Rusty led the mergers and acquisition efforts for Enable Midstream Partners and its predecessor company Enogex. In 2006, he joined Enogex as manager of business development where he secured producer support for Midcontinent midstream asset development and led the acquisition of the Cordillera Midstream assets in western Oklahoma.   Prior to 2006, Rusty worked for 18 years for Conoco Inc. and ConocoPhillips in various roles of increasing responsibility in the midstream, downstream refined products, asphalt and marketing business segments.  From 2000 -2002, he led Conoco’s business development efforts in Bangkok, Thailand, supporting the refining and marketing efforts in southeast Asia.

Prior to joining MVP, Rusty served as senior director-crude with responsibilities for crude operations in the Williston Basin and its midcontinent condensate marketing business. 

From 2011 to 2014, Rusty led the mergers and acquisition efforts for Enable Midstream Partners and its predecessor company Enogex. In 2006, he joined Enogex as manager of business development where he secured producer support for Midcontinent midstream asset development and led the acquisition of the Cordillera Midstream assets in western Oklahoma. 

Prior to 2006, Rusty worked for 18 years for Conoco Inc. and ConocoPhillips in various roles of increasing responsibility in the midstream, downstream refined products, asphalt and marketing business segments.  From 2000 -2002, he led Conoco’s business development efforts in Bangkok, Thailand, supporting the refining and marketing efforts in southeast Asia.

 

  Lee Bullock, CFO   Lee Bullock joined MV Purchasing in February 2009. He began his career in the oil in gas industry in 2001, after receiving a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Oral Roberts University.  His experience includes accounting management, financial management, relationship management, trade analysis, and other aspects related to transportation, storage, and trading of petroleum products.  Lee spent the eight years prior to joining MV Purchasing working in various capacities of a multinational petroleum transportation and storage company. Two of those years he worked in Geneva, Switzerland for SemEuro Supply Ltd as accounting and finance manager.            

Lee Bullock, CFO

Lee Bullock joined MV Purchasing in February 2009. He began his career in the oil in gas industry in 2001, after receiving a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Oral Roberts University.

His experience includes accounting management, financial management, relationship management, trade analysis, and other aspects related to transportation, storage, and trading of petroleum products.

Lee spent the eight years prior to joining MV Purchasing working in various capacities of a multinational petroleum transportation and storage company. Two of those years he worked in Geneva, Switzerland for SemEuro Supply Ltd as accounting and finance manager.

 

 

 

 

  Aaron J. Wright, CCO   Aaron has 16+ years of experience in the energy industry--in upstream, midstream and downstream markets and logistics--with a strong emphasis on commercial development, contract negotiations, finance and marketing. He earned an MBA with a focus in Finance and Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma.  Aaron was named CCO of Great Salt Plains Midstream when the joint venture formed in December 2017 and oversees all aspects of commercial transactions including negotiations, closure and integration.  Prior to that he managed  business development and marketing for Arrow Midstream, located in the Williston Basin where he was responsible for crude marketing, gas scheduling, salt water disposal and contract administration. Aaron was on the Arrow Midstream team that divested to Crestwood Midstream for $750 million dollars.

Aaron J. Wright, CCO

Aaron has 16+ years of experience in the energy industry--in upstream, midstream and downstream markets and logistics--with a strong emphasis on commercial development, contract negotiations, finance and marketing.   Trey Roper, Dir. Analytics & Commercial Development   Trey has more than 10 years of experience in the upstream energy industry and earned an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Okla. He has been accepted into the Executive MBA in Energy program at the University of Oklahoma with expected completion in March 2020. Trey Roper, Dir. Analytics & Commercial Development

Trey has more than 10 years of experience in the upstream energy industry and earned an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Okla. He has been accepted into the Executive MBA in Energy program at the University of Oklahoma with expected completion in March 2020.

Prior to joining Great Salt Plains Midstream in May 2018, Trey served as vice president-finance for Ward Energy Partners from April 2016 until their successful monetization in April 2018. His responsibilities included budgeting and forecasting, payroll, human resources, hedging and treasury functions of the organization. 

Previously, Trey was senior finance associate at Ascent Resources where his responsibilities included budgeting and forecasting, hedging, and various special projects. He spent the first eight years of his career at Chesapeake Energy, Sandridge Energy, Rex Energy, and American Energy Partners, holding various accounting titles of increasing importance, including revenue director and operations accounting manager.

  Bryan Mitchell, COO   Bryan has 11+ years of experience in the energy industry- with extensive engineering and construction experience on upstream and midstream.  He earned his chemical engineering degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA in Energy from the University of Oklahoma.  Bryan was named COO of Great Salt Plains Midstream and oversees all aspects of planning, design and operations of the gathering and processing systems.  Prior to joining GSPM,  Bryan was engineering manager at Devon Energy where he was responsible for planning, design and project management for surface facilities and pipeline construction in the Delaware Basin.                   

Bryan Mitchell, COO

Bryan has 11+ years of experience in the energy industry- with extensive engineering and construction experience on upstream and midstream.  He earned his chemical engineering degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA in Energy from the University of Oklahoma.

Bryan was named COO of Great Salt Plains Midstream and oversees all aspects of planning, design and operations of the gathering and processing systems.

Prior to joining GSPM,  Bryan was engineering manager at Devon Energy where he was responsible for planning, design and project management for surface facilities and pipeline construction in the Delaware Basin.  

 

 

 

 

 

  Elise Stroud, Sr. Director Business Development   Elise has 11+ years of experience in the energy industry with extensive experience in trading, optimization, NGL movement, and origination. She earned an undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University in International Business in Stillwater, Oklahoma.  Prior to joining Great Salt Plains Midstream, Elise was the Director of Trading and Origination at MVP Gas Services and responsible for accounting, trading, retail services, and tailgate residue and NGL marketing.   Elise has previously held roles of increasing responsibility at Oneok and Continuum Energy Services.
